CRM Solution Pack

CRM Solution Pack

Using Webassist I have built a basic 'Business Catalyst' like backend for client websites. I have had many requests to add a 'CRM' capability to the backend. I have been unable to prototype such a capability mainly because of the limitations in 'Universal Email'.

Has there been any thought given to enhancing UE/Data Assist and coming up with a true CRM solution blueprint?

Yes I have been wondering the same thing. WA has most bases covered with what Business Catalyst can offer with PowerStore and PowerCMS although I would like to see something more like Incontext editing capabilities with PowerCMS. For CRM in the past with a couple of clients I have used an extension from Linecraft called Mail Merge. I would love to see WA come up with a similar product.

We appreciate the suggestion. Some of the new features in UE are opening up doors to create better CRM websites, but we have more we can do and can certainly use it to create solutions to give examples of how it might work.

Thanks for the suggestions. Any more details on how and where you would use it?

I've recorded a short video showing a newsletter application that I have developed using the aforementioned extension by Linecraft.

Thanks for the time you put into this. We will definitely be doing something like this in the future. I think we do have all of the tools necessary, we would just have to put them all together in a solution like the user registration and powerstore solutions.

I will make sure to consider all of the features demonstrated in your video. Thanks again.

thank you for the video

Thank you Lee for showing the video of the Linecraft extension.

I am going to give it a try developing a similar app.

I hope Webassist can enhance UE and then a 'solution' pack.
