Site Import

Just installed it. Getting a blank pop up - well, one that has no instructions allowing. Getting this screen.

"While executing onCLick in WA_SiteTools_Progress.htm the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

In file "WA_SiteTools_Progress":
ImportNew is not defined.

Have moved file to new location and reinstalled. Same error.

Somehow, I have not gotten to the screen where I insert the password.

Can you assist in debugging.

THX

It seems that this may be an error when it is trying to call up the activation window. One thing you can try is to install Surveyor and go to Site->WebAssist Site Tools. Then choose Site Import from the select list. Then hit the go button and see if you still get the same error.

Additionally, have you tried the steps outlined in the common installation issues document?

Done this

Hi Jimmy

Thanks for the advice. Tried the former. Did not work. Tried the latter, but this file cannot be found on my computer. See attachment for former error report.

Is there anything else I can do?

No luck there

Hi there

I have read this file and tried finding this file on my computer. No avail.

This error accurs with most all of the extensions. Is there anything else I can try?

What version of dreamweaver are you using?

If you type %AppData% into your windows explorer window where you enter the path, you will be taken to the Application Support directory. Try navigating to the Configuration directory from there.

Hi Jimmy

Thanks. I have tried this. I am using DW CS4.

I have tried looking, searching and other means, but cannot find this file anywhere.

Are you installing the extension on the same user you're on now or is it using a different account?

Are you able to find the Configuration directory at least? If you are, can you take a screen shot of the Windows Explorer window and post it here?

Thanks for posting those, but I can't really tell much from the images. If you could post up some larger screen shots and also include the file path bar in them that would be appreciated.
