Menu not Working Site Wide

Hello:
I have recently installed CSS Menu Writer and have some problems with it. I am currently using Dreamweaver 8. I am creating a vertical menu in my main template, using the "slick" style. It looks fine and all of the links to the pages seem to be fine. After saving and updating all linked pages, the menu does not show up correctly on the linked site pages. It shows up as text only. This is very frustrating and any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks:
Rich

Does this happen in all browsers or just in certain browsers? If you are having issues in just IE, then most likely your page does not have a doctype declaration before the <html> tag, this will cause IE to render using quirks mode which is not CSS compliant.

make sure your page has a doctype at line 1:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

if you are still having problems, please provide a link.
