Not with Digital File Pro, but it can be done with the new Universal Email v4.0 which kind of replaces Digital File Pro.

So, with universal email, can you just add the upload function to a form and this could upload more than 1 file at a time and it will have an actual progress bar that shows progress rather than just spinning?

you need to add a file filed to your form for each file to upload. Then add an Upload File server behavior for each file field.

The progress bar is a client side javascript, it really cant interact with the server to know how far along the server is in processing the upload.
