Uploading Thumbnails

Uploading Thumbnails

I'm still having a problem uploading both the thumbnail images and full size images. I'm using data assist and universal email. Right now, my product insert page has both a full size image uploader and thumbnail uploader (see attached), I added the upload behavior (see attached). I made sure the source codes are correct according to the instructions, and in the end I only get the full size images to show. The product result page shows nothing. I've tried several different ways, and it seems like whatever size of image (thumb, full size) I upload, it shows up on the product detail page. For example, if I upload a thumbnail image, it would show on the product detail page only. It seems like it skips the result page. I'm running out of options here. Please help.

1. Do I need a database field for both the thumbnail images AND full size images? (right now I have a field called productImage and productThumb)

2. Do I need 2 image uploaders on my product_insert page for both the full size and thumbnail images?

I've tried several different combinations and I can't get the thumbnail image AND full size images to appear at the same time.

See attachments.

Thanks,
Craig

You should be able to accomplish this with a single upload server behavior and a single file field on our form. It looks as though the screen shot for the upload is setup correctly. You will want to specify the name and size of the resized image in here. This should get the image uploading with the new name. Are you getting the thumbnail image uploaded?

You will need to first confirm that the image is uploaded, once you do that then you can update the insert server behavior. For the image field in your table you will use the server file name for the full size image, for the thumbnail field in your db you will want to use the server file name for the resized thumbnail image.

You should then be able to see the image on any page with a recordset that selects from these records in your db. Please describe a little about what you are currently experiencing versus what you are hoping to accomplish and include the pages in question so that we have a better understanding.
