Checkout Wizard Errors

I am running Dreamweaver CS4 and eCart 5.0.1 on a Windows Vista machine. I have used the other modules such as eCart Object, Display Manager and the other buttons without any problems, but the Checkout Wizard is the first thing that has caused problems. As I'm going through the wizard, after choosing the shipping provider I get an error message. If I start over and uncheck the I will provide shipping checkbox it will proceed through the end of the wizard. When I click the Finish button, I get a different error message. I am attaching a series of screen shots in a zip file to describe what I'm doing. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Have you tried deleting the cache file to see if that clears up the error? Here are the steps that you can take for this:

common_installation_issues.pdf

If you continue to have this problem after clearing the cache file there might be a problem with your configuration. If this is the case you will need to follow these steps to undo any corruption that may have taken place.

If you continue to have these errors after trying both of these please let us know so we can look into this further.

Checout Wizard Errors

Eric,
Just deleting the cache file did not help, but renaming the configuration folder, uninstalling WebAssist extensions and re-installing them seems to work. The wizard completed correctly and created the forms. Thank you so much for your help.

I'm glad to hear that you got it worked out. Problems like this will happen from time to time when you are working with DW so it is good to be familiar with the steps needed to resolve these types of issues.

If you are interested in learning more about DW and js errors here is a nice kb article from Adobe on the subject:
