Step 3 problem

Step 3 problem

I'm getting this error: ERROR: Failed to save the settings in the database. Please verify your database connection.

I've read the other posts. When I go and look at the database via phpMyAdmin there are no tables. We these suppose to be created for me? When I try to go back and start over I get a message that Step 2 has already been completed?

One other quick question. I just took everything from the folder PowerStore300 and placed it all in the htdocs directory on my server. Is that correct or should I have left everything in the PowerStore300 folder and loaded it as a directory. I'm asking this because I'm planning on having the gallery and the CMS running too.

New note....
How long does it usually take for someone to get back to me. I've ready other posts where it sounds like people are giving up on this. If this product doesn't work I need to know. It seems like there is a problem that needs to be fixed at every step.
