Headers already sent error - Help

Hi,

I have added security assist to some pages and all is normally fine, however i am now getting this error on one of my pages, could someone please help?

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/sites/domain.com/public_html/clients_Detail.php:1) in /home/sites/domain.com/public_html/WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php on line 5

thank you

it looks like you have a space at the top of your clients_Detail.php page. Open the clients_Detail.php page in DW and make sure that there are not white spaces before the security assist php includes.

Hi Dani,

I cant post the full page up as it is a clients site i am working on, more than happy to email or send via a ticket or is all you need the php code at top of page and helper file?

many thanks

That is OK, can you take a look at this page:

148/

and specifically at the topic:

PHP bug

Unicode Signature (BOM)

This should help you resolve the issue.

let me know if you still have any other questions.

Hi dani,

i looked at the link, i saved the page as and checked to see if BOM was ticked and it was not, i checked my preferences and it was also unchecked so not that causing the issue.

i took all the php code at start of the page onto the end/start on same line so no white space at all and still never worked.

i removed security assist and re applied to that page and still no joy??

thanks

Dani is there anything else i can try?

on this page i cannot add security assist, comes back with headers already sent.

even if i apply server validation to my form it says this yet if i take it off and have the standard form it works fine.

Solved.

Any users who may come into this just a heads up.

I went through the link as per Dani and nothing should up i viewed hidden characters and i still got the error.

When i spoke with another developer he looked at the page via SSH and everytime i added security assist it added a

this:

<?php require_once('Connections/file.php'); ?>

took this character out and it works fine now, however i am concerned why i cannot view this in Dreamweaver anyone had this before?

Many thanks
