Step 6 of Security Assist

I have used Security Assist before and it was okay. However, today when I get to Step 6 I complete the Email Properties section as required together with the rest of the boxes. When I click Finish it asks me to complete the Email address, Display Name, and Subject but they are already in there.

Appreciate some help. I have tried 3 times and also in between that closed Dreamweaver completely and started again.

Can you send me a screen shot with the alert you are getting on step 6. I have never seen this kind of issue before.

Here is a screenshot of the error message. You can see the Security Assist Wizard to the left, filled out and then the error message to the right asking for the From Address and Subject for the Email. These are clearly there. I have closed down DW, and started the Security Wizard again at least 6 times with the same result. Over to you :)

Can you trying deleting your cache file, here are the steps:

if you are still seeing the issue, please try uninstalling and then reinstalling the extension.

I did as requested and cleared the cache and then uninstalled and reinstalled the extension. Unfortunately the same problem is reoccurring. I even downloaded a fresh copy of the Security Assist Extension.

I'm sorry to hear that you are still having the issue. I would like to try one last thing. Please try renaming your configuration folder:

the like above should have information about how to rename your configuration folder.

Hi,

Yesterday I decided to try Security Assist without changing the steps where you put the labels on the form fields. I just took it as it was and clicked through right to the finish and it did it. I then went into it and changed the form fields around and deleted those I did not want so for now I have found a way around it. Not ideal but it does allow me to move on. I will, no doubt, have to use it again soon so will post another thread if it happens again. Thanks
