Gallery Index or Directory

Is there a way to display a list of all of the available galleries on a public web page to create navitation links to the multiple galleries?

Jimmy Wu

You could just add a link to all the galleries on a page, or you could store a link to all the galleries in the database and then use a recordset to display the links.

gallery directory

i was trying to allow for my client to manage his own gallery without having having to contact me to make the updates.

Unfortunately, there is no feature for this. You would have to either educate your client on how to insert the code for the gallery or develop a module yourself that would accomplish this for you.

Do the Jimmy Wu

You can do as Jimmy suggests two posts up - set up a recordset to show all available galleries in the system. Then code the link to push the url variables that controls how the gallery is displayed.

I did that for a client here:

www.paulelfenbein.com

click on gallery to see how it works. It makes it so much easier to manage and access the galleries.
