Creating Order Summary and Order Details Pages

Do I need to add a rsOrderSum and rsOrderDetails server behaviors to the Shopping Cart page before I run the checkout wizard?

The reason I ask is when I run the checkout wizard (eCart 4.52) -- at Step 1 of 2: Store order summary in database, it asks you to se the value of the columns to something?

For example, I click on OrderID, click the lightning bolt, and my choices are: URL, session, eCart, form, server variables, ecart checkout form, andProtxvsp server general.

Which one to I bind to???

Or should I create two records sets and bind to the database. Documentation doesn't specifiy. Please advise. Thanks.

OK, so maybe it's the cart to bind to, but

Should the OrderID bind to session ID, or ID, and what would the OrderReferenceID bind to? and the Visitor ID?

There's 3 ID references in the columns but only a session id and ID in the cart.

Thanks.

When you are storing the order summary you will not bind the id, this should be an auto incrementing column that you have in your orders table. For the order reference id you will want to bind the eCart session id. The visitor id would be the id value for the logged in user. This is how you will identify an order belonging to an individual. If you are not requiring users to login this will not apply.

Please post back with any other questions that you have about any part of this and we will help with whatever we can.
