message send

Hi

in the interface I've set a dynamic from address and copied that to the cc field so that the user receives a copy.

When I test the email is sent and the user receives a copy but the to field which is fixed ( my own address for testing) does not receive and email.

Any ideas why? clearly the send perameters are ok and the to address is valid with no spam filter.

thanks

Ian

send email info

Hi

Just solved a couple of issues and thought I'd post my findings to save others possible agravation.

Firstly as the form owner I received no emails but the form sender did.
Cant explain it but ticking the advanced box enabling the from option fixed this.

Second no message body was received this was fixed by ticking the box to create a file for the email.

HTH

Thanks for posting back here with the updated info about your experience. The from thing might have to do with relay restrictions, if the from is not properly defined with the additional parameter many hosts will limit the mail that is sent. Perhaps yours doesn't allow for emails to be sent to the domain unless an valid from address for the domain is referenced.
