Blinds animation not working

Gday guys, I have used this gallery before, but for the life of me I can't get the animation effects working. I have turned all the chrome etc off and images seem to be resizing correctly but animation not working. Any help appreciated. Weblink: <http://www.nickisclevercookies.com.au/testpage.php>

You should start with a new implementation of this gallery in its default state. It seems that you may have removed too much stuff to allow it to work. You should start fresh again and when you are altering parts of it test it out one step at a time to ensure that you are not loosing any of the functionality.

Okay thanks Eric. I will double check.

Eric, I checked this out and managed to get it working, however the problem is not what I was doing (I was following the previous posts on changing widths for slide shows), the problem seems to occur when duplicating the "slideshow_blinds" directory (as per WA instructions) for some reason the animation doesn't work after duplication. When I directly adjust the sizing etc. using the original slideshow_blinds directory it works – see <http://www.nickisclevercookies.com.au/testpage.php>. Also, I have found it is essential to use the CSS code "min-width" for the page's "outerwrapper" otherwise it stuffs up the page. Feedback on this would be good to see if it is something I am doing wrong.
Regards,
Tim

What are the specific css settings that you had to change in the original slide show folder's to see the correct results? I'm testing this out on my end and it seems that all of the adjustments I make in the copied folder are working for that copied gallery.

I duplicated the slideshow_blinds folder and called it slideshow_blinds_copy, how do you have yours setup?

Hi Eric, for the one that didn't work, I didn't get to the stage of changing any CSS at all. I simply duplicated the slideshow_blinds directory (without changing anything) and then chose the new directory from the admin panel and it didn't work. To get the one working that I have, I simply changed the CSS settings on the original slideshow_blinds and it worked. I am wondering if it has something to do with whatever is stored in the database or doesn't it even access the database at the early stages?

Regards,
Tim

When you duplicate the blinds design you will not be able to select this as a design type within the PowerGallery admin area. All that you are doing is taking an existing design and duplicating it so that you can make customizations without altering the original.

To make use of this new design you will need to follow along in the document and rename the folder and the references to the design in the include code that you would like to make use of this newly customized design.
