Brower Won't Allow Preview from Test Server

I have been having a couple of problems viewing my PHP pages. When I want to to view the page from my local server FireFox asks me if I want to download a file. I have everything set up correctly in Dreamweaver. Can you help on that?

Also, when I hit the preview button or F12 I get a file not found message.

what is the address in the address bar when it is trying to download the file?


What is the address when you get the 404 page not found error?

have installed a testing server?

As an example I'm trying to open the Test site for Ecart so the path is Users/drubin/Sites/store_dynamic_cp_php/index.php

you must have a testing server installed, and you must access the page using the http protocol,

page.php

I do have a testing server installed. I'm using MAMP and all the lights are green.

you need to access the page using the address for your server, not the file system path.
