Insert and Email - Error

Hello,

For the past few days I have been trying to get the following to work with absolutely no luck.

Send an email when the submit button is pushed and Insert a record in the database.

All on one page using UE 4 only.

I can get the email portion to work, no problem.
However as soon as I add the insert (logging) part, the whole things goes pear shaped.

After filling in all the details, assigning the form fields I click ok.
Then I hit Finish...

UE takes a few seconds, I assume its building something.
Then the JavaScript Error pops up.

"While executing applyServerBehaviour in CreateEmailMessage_WA.htm a java script error occurred"

I am then forced to visit %appdata% and remove the DAT file, if I don’t I cannot access UE at all.

Here is a link to video of events so you can exactly what I am doing:
index.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark,

This could be because of the dreamweaver cache issue where the cache gets frequently corrupt and causes all sorts of javascript errors.

Follow the instruction here to delete the cache file: 146/

Then give it a try again. The word is that Adobe will have the cache problem all fixed up in time for CS5.

Best regards,

Brian

You might have a configuration corruption. Here is a link with the steps you can take to get past this if it is the issue:

Let us know if the issue still persists after this.
