iRite Showing <tags> Around Text

I am using iRite and it is showing the tags around text on webpages. ex. below

<h1>Speaking, training workshops. Sales, marketing ideas to get results for entrepenuers and small business.</h1><p><b>Speaking Gigs and Workshops &#160; by me!</b></p><p>Workshops, break-out sessions are customized to you and/or audience needs. Delivered in an interactive coaching style that evokes reasons to sell authentically and market differently.&#160; All sessions sprinkled with real world examples that have worked and lessons learned</p><p><b>FearLESS. SellMORE.</b></p>

edit the iRite instance. For the initial value, click the lightning bolt and reselect the recordset column. make sure to clear any formatting options.

I am now using HTML Editor with the same problem on another site.

I went into the initial value, clicked the lightening bolt and reselected the recordset column with no success.

What do you mean by clearing any formatting options? Do I have to go to the Formatting Tab and undo my choices. If so, how do I get it back to the defaults?

I appreciate your help. I now have multiple sites with the same problem. I have used iRite on other sites without problems before.

Thank you.
H.

when you click the lightning bolt to select your recordset column, underneath the dynamic data bindings is a dropdown list titled "Formatting". Set this to None.

Thank you. It didn't work just like that. But, originally I had copied and pasted the text from a website into the editor. This time I pasted it into Notepad first, then copied it into the editor which seemed to have stripped any former tags.

Thank you very much.

if you are copying from a web site, go to source view in the editor, paste the content from the website in source view. This will prevent the tags from being converted to HTML entities.
