Width of box

Thread began 4/16/2010 2:07 pm by spamfree211406 | Last modified 4/19/2010 10:23 am by Jason Byrnes | 503 views | 1 replies |

Width of box

When I have a menu item (text that is longer) than others, it looks strange. How can I have the box width of the top level menu item be relative to the amount of text it it. In other words: If I have a menu item such as About compard to a menu item Vision Disorders. Vision Disorders crowds the width but if I make the width fit Vision Disorders then the shorter items have a lot of extra space around them.

for the longer menu items, you can set an inline width to make it larger. for example:

<li><a href="About.php">About</a></li>
<li><a href="Vision_Disorders.php" style="width:140px;">Vision Disorders</a></li>

In this example, the width used for the about link will be the width setting you use in the Menu Writer Wizard. The width used for the Vision Disorders link will be 140px.
