Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent

I get this message when clicking the add to cart button.

Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent

Not had it before. The page in question just has a few includes. No sessions or cookies.

I have palced the add to cart button in a repeating region as many items are listed on the page. Is this ok to do?

Thanks

Jon

Headers already sent

Hi Jason,

Thanks for your reply. I did check for all these. The exact error message is:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent in C:\xampp\htdocs\exhaustsdirectfit\WA_eCart\WA_eCart_Definition_PHP.php on line 465

function Session_GetContent() {
if (!session_id()) session_start();
$retArray = array();
........

Not sure if you can help looking at the above. On my cart page I am creating a session to set a shipping region. I have created rules to check for the session to add the correct shipping amount. It works well on another site I did.

Any help appreciated.

Jon

there should be another part to the error message stating that output started at <page>:<line>

this part of the error helps determine where the output causing the issue is occurring.

can you send a screen shot showing the error, or a link where I could see the error.

Fixed

Hi Jason,

All fixed. I think it was my own includes causing a problem. I ran the setup wizards again after changing my includes so the open and close head tags were not in same include.

Thanks a million Jason.

you need to contact your host for this issue.

the error is saying that the php.ini setting for the session.save_path is pointing to a location on the server that does not exist.

contact the host and they will be able to correct the problem.
