Bulk uploading image problem

Hi there!

I've pre-built my products catalog on another server and exported it to my real server, everything's working fine. EXCEPT - when trying to upload my images to the imagesupload directory I get the following error in Fetch: Server Responded Permission denied.

Since the real server is a different configuration than the test server - (I'm using GoDaddy and a Virtual Dedicated server) I'm just wondering which permissions I'm needing to be able to drag these images in. I already imported them through the CMS on the other server so the names should match. Also I did a test with importing images through the CMS and it worked just fine - but I am adding additional images so need to upload them manually.

I was able to upload the images in bulk on my test server just fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

the folder needs to have read write permissions granted for all users, that should give the permissions needed to add the images.

Thanks for your help Jason.

This was something that I actually had to call my hosting company to have them change. Because the directory was created by the program it had the ownership as Apache and I was locked out from changing the CHMOD of the directory. It's working now!
