A second allowable (registered?) 'Test' site for Single Domain Licence Solutions

A second allowable (registered?) 'Test' site for Single Domain Licence Solutions

It would be a real asset to developers if one could register with WA one extra permanent 'test' domain for all WA (new licence) solutions - for testing, demo-ing to clients etc., that didn't count against the 'one set-up on one domain' licence.

If solution purchasers were able to register with WebAssist a domain that they regularly use for testing - and especially for demonstrating functionality to clients, then, as the product is not in itself being sold (a fresh licence would need to be purchased for the client's site) then I believe that this could only improve sales - and the developers' options - without any infringement of license or loss of revenue to WA.

Currently, if I wanted to demo the new CMS features to a client, under the current licence I would have to show him by logging in to a previous client's CMS2 (assuming I still had log-in rights) or send them to the YouTube product video, which is a whole other can of worms.

Thanks.

There is nothing in the code that would prevent you from doing this, and we won't come after you for setting up a demo site in this mannor.

We aren't going to update the license for this, since the legal termonology would be too complex and expensive to get written, but just do it and don't worry about it.

The license is in place so that we have legal right to go after someone that is doing something that may effect our business in a negative mannor. We aren't going to use it to go after clients setting up demo sites to try to get business.
