Power CMS 2

Hi

Please advise on the license - is this for unlimited sites as most other extensions ? I am using dreamweaver and would want to use on various sites - but see it is listed as a single site license.

Surely this is a drawback for people like me building multiple sites - I am probably better using Data Assist to do the Add Mod Delete on my active pages - and just setting tables into my MySQL database which acheives a similar result.

I really like the look of this product - and was about to purchase it when I spotted the single license. So do you have a developer license to cover us to use on more than one site ?

Thank you

John

yes, the solution packs are sold with a single site license.

See the recent announcement here:

This post sums some of the reasons behind the change:

at this time, we do not have a developer license available for the solution packs.

Power CMS 1

Is it still possible to buy Power CMS 1 as a solution pack then ??

Change to license

Really feel let down by this - I purchased an upgrade and didn't see that the license had changed - retrograde step IMHO and will make me re-consider future purchase - have spent $000 with you over the years!

How do I revert a PowerCMS 2 installation to version1?

the PCMS 2 database uses different table names.

you will need to rename the "pcms2_content" and "pcms2_contenthistory" tables to "content" and "contenthistory"

then it should just be a matter of replacing the cms files with the ones from PCMS1 and configuring the globals file and the connection file.

Revert to CMS 1

Thanks that worked - easier for me in that I actually put cms2 into a separate directory :)
