eCart confirm.php error

Hi

I have managed to set up a cart and the checkout pages and it is fine until I click on the submit button within confirm.php, then I just get a blank screen.

I was getting this error message:

Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit in safe mode in /var/www/vhosts/juppfinejewellery.co.uk/httpdocs/confirm.php on line 185

Notice: Use of undefined constant undefined - assumed 'undefined' in /var/www/vhosts/juppfinejewellery.co.uk/httpdocs/confirm.php on line 187

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_commit() in /var/www/vhosts/juppfinejewellery.co.uk/httpdocs/confirm.php on line 232

I found a thread in your forum that suggested I change :

$BurstSize = undefined;
$BurstTime = undefined;
$WaitTime = undefined;

to

$BurstSize = 200;
$BurstTime = 1;
$WaitTime = 1;

which sorted out some of the error messages, now I just get:

Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit in safe mode in /var/www/vhosts/juppfinejewellery.co.uk/httpdocs/confirm.php on line 185

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_commit() in /var/www/vhosts/juppfinejewellery.co.uk/httpdocs/confirm.php on line 232

Sorry I am very new to this, please can you help as I can't seem to get any further?

Many Thanks

when php is configured to run in safe mode, certain features will be turned off:
features.safe-mode.php

Universal Email is not compatible with PHP servers configured to run in safe mode, safe mode will need to be turned off.

Try changing line 232 from
session_commit();

to:
session_write_close();

checkout_failure

Thanks, that seemed to do the trick, although I had to change session_commit(); to:
session_write_close(); in a couple more places too.

Now, unfortunately I have a new problem, I used the eCart wizard for SagePay VSP Server and it always goes to the checkout_failure.php page, I can't seem to get it to work. I noticed one other thread on your forum (SagePay / Protx Problems) and they suggested deleting the entries for Billing State and Delivery State as they seemed to cause an error when they were changed to UK counties. I have tried this but it didn't work. I also tried to follow the article "Debugging eCart Transaction Failure issues" but nothing appeared to happen.

Is there anything else I could do?

Many Thanks
