update

Hi Jason
doesn't seem to work, heres the flow I get

1. I log in

2. selected all products

3. selected more info on one of them

4. selected add to cart

5 pressed the checkout button

6. Site went to checkout.php and listed delivery info etc

7.pressed checkout

8. Looks like it's supposed to goto confirm.php but doesn't

Any ideas?

thanks

Ian

have you modified the confirm page at all?

try adding the following code at line 1 to see if a php error is occurring:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

update

Hi Jason

I was getting confused, ( easy I know)

Ok when running through the sequence I get to the confirm.php page if I press the confirm button the email is indeed sent and arrives in the users mail box but the page displayed remains confirm.php

this as you can imagine is a bit confusing because the user is presented with the confirm button a second time.

Is there a way to send the user to the thankyou page?

thanks

Ian

that's OK, I was clear on the sequence, my thinking is that there is a php error occurring that is causing the redirect to the order success page to fail. try adding the code from my previous reply to see if a php error is indeed occuring, it would also help if you sent a copy of the confirm page.

update

Hi Jason

I added the code as you suggested to the confirm page and uploaded it. No errors are shown but when you press the confirm button the page does not change.

I've attached the file as you asked for. I've only change the $ for a £ sign

I've done a file compare on the master and my modified file and they appear OK

thanks

Ian
