login works second attempt, not first

login works second attempt, not first

I wondered if anyone else had experienced this issue - no biggy, more of a minor frustration, really.
I set up a login page for a secure folder to allow the client to access the pages where they can create new records, delete, update existing ones, etc. The site is now live and when I try to log in using Safari, enter the username & password, it refreshes the page on submit rather than allowing access to the secured area. In Firefox it works first time, but in Safari for some reason it takes two attempts. Any ideas why this might be?

Not sure what the issue could be, but if you could post up the page, I can take a look at it and hopefully figure it out.

Same Problem

Except mine is with firefox also.

If I open firefox or safari and login, the page goes stays, then will allow me to log in on the second attempt.

Please post a link where I could see the problem and a copy of the login page so I can examine the code.
