PHP eCart 5 Add to Cart not working

PHP eCart 5 Add to Cart not working

I've run into this before with ASP where the WAeCart extension would put code in the wrong order and products would not Add to Cart.

In earlier versions of eCart it would leave blank lines in php pages which also messed things up.

Is there a similar issue with this latest version?

Are these products tested at all before they are released? I have lost at a minimum 5 hours today to buggy WA products.

Page is attached.

There is a php bug that will effect some server that will cause session information to be lost when the header function is used to redirect to another page.

In you add to cart page, find the folloowing:

php:
<?php

// WA eCart Redirect
if ($eCart1->redirStr != "")     {

header("Location: ".$eCart1->redirStr);
}
?>

and add session_commit() before the header call to work around the bug:

php:
<?php

// WA eCart Redirect
if ($eCart1->redirStr != "")     {

session_commit();

header("Location: ".$eCart1->redirStr);
}
?>

Looks very familiar. Actually I recall now that I had the exact same error in eCart4.

New version and old problems are still not fixed....

Why not change your code so that it adds behaviours in a manner that will work?
