Chart date axis

Chart date axis

Hi, I am using dynamic charrts to display product orders against date. However I cannot seem to get the date to run oldest to most recent on the x-axis. It just seems to wrap around; e.g. 28, 30, 31, 24, 25, 26, 27? Any ideas? Also, is there a way to stop it from missing out dates that have a value of zero? since it gives a distorted look if you want to see how something changes with date.

Regards

I've also noticed that creating charts based on different date groupings, e.g. by day, week and month do not match, i.e. total of all days in march, does not match the value for march in the 'group by month' version of the same chart.

I currently have my date mysql data in a "date + time" format; could this be the problem?

Sorting by date seems to make no difference, and when I re-enter the wizard this sorting info is lost (i have DWC version 1.04).

Any assistance you can provide would be gratefully received as i really need to get this sorted.

Regards,

Rather than grouping by the date you should try to just order by the date. This should give you all of the dates in order. If there is a record that has a date it will be listed and the value for that date plotted on the chart.

As for the sorting options being lost you can check on the data page inside of the DynamicWebCharts folder in your site. You should be able to see the grouping and order in here.

If you have any further trouble with this please post back and include a copy of the db in a sql file and the page and DynamicWebCharts folder. I can check it out for you to see what is going on.
