DataAssist Question

Friends, I have a problem! although dataassist software works perfect, there is something I do and I can not. The point is that I have certain data and other image if the subject is that it is a newspaper on line and I can not put a picture of landfill. So what is the code to be applied if data has no particular image does not appear with the "x" box is not visible. I have tried to show whether or display ... if not .... but does not work. There is a specific code to make this image if no white space and not the box with the x? means? I enclose attachment for sample

update image path

Hi,
1. open your page with the image field.
2. select the image field
3. look in the dreamweaver "properties" tab for the "src" field
4. update the path to reflect your images folder.

eg

if your images are inside your site "images" folder you would place this in front of the code

../images/

your code will now look something like this ../images/<?php echo $row_WADAyourdatabasename['yourtablefieldname']; ?>

Regards

Russ

Also, if some articles have images and others don't, you could hide the placeholder or red-X.

In the insert and update forms for the images and content records, you could add a checkbox for 'image_exists' with a binary value (value if checked = 1) with an equivalent field in your database table.

Then you could add a 'Show Region' server behaviour ( i.e. WebAssist's Show Region Utility) based on the value you have assigned in the database via the checkbox.

Select the image or image container and from the recordset with the 'image_exists' data, you could make the show region as:

<?php
if ("".$row_theRecordset['image_exists'] ."" == "1") {
?>

[Your image or image-container code here]

<?php
}
?>

Images or image containers without a ticked 'image_exists' checkbox would be hidden.
