Problems searching French language content that contains special characters

Hi,

The search engine works great except for when I use a French search term that contains apostrophies and special characters. Does anyone know how I can get this working?

My dev URL is results_f.php

To rêproduce the problem:

Try a search using "Sensibiliser le public aux toxicomanies : créer une volonté d’agir" and you will see that no results are returned. Do another search for "Sensibiliser le public aux toxicomanies" and it works.

Thanks,

Rob

I can see the results you are getting with the example searches. Have you specified the proper character set on your pages that you are searching from? This is about the only thing that I can think of that would cause problems like this. If Yahoo was not getting the search query properly it could cause it to not return any results. Please check on this and adjust it if necessary. Let us know the result that you experience.
