HTML or PHP ? does it matter

Hi there,

Im just using CSS Form Builder for the 1st time and thought it would be much easier to use.

Normally i use Coffe Cups form builder which is easy to set up but doesnt look very good as its in flash.

Anyway my 1st question is can i use the form builder on an html page ?
See example contact_us.html

I understand i also need to use universal email to make the form work but that is greyd out in my webassist extensions.

And how do i change the labels in the validate fields - they dont match at present.

Sorry if this seems a bit basic but im only a beginner and bought the super suite to help me although so far ive been unable to use it as its much more complex than it appears.

thank you.

You will need to put the form on a php page. There is a bit of information about this in the getting started guide, here is a link to it.

form_builder_gsg.pdf

You will only be able to apply UE to the php page once it has been saved to your site. For the labels you can adjust these in the 'Edit Contents' area. Just select a group, then edit it. When you select an element that is within a set you will have the option to edit the label.

This information can also be found in the help under Using CSS Form Builder > Edit Group Contents.
