Content Management area in Powerstore 3

The Content Management Area in Powerstore 3 is not holding the colour changes requested for text in the wysiwyg areas. They keep reverting back to previous styles.

Are these default color options or custom styling that you have added? Please post back with this and give us some steps that we can take to see the result you are experiencing so that we can check into this further.

Content management

I am using the default text colour manager in the wysiwyg area, and typing in my own color in the more colours section. No changes

When I go into the text colors and click on the more colors option I'm presented with a typical looking color selection area. In here under the 'selected' there is a text box that I can enter values into. If I enter my color in hex notation and click tab it will set the color. I then select ok to apply it.

I'm including a screen shot of this for your reference. Let us know if you can't get it working this way.

Yes, I know how to do this, thanks, and this is exactly how I do it. The point is that the colour does not hold or transfer to the website. It shows as having changed in the wysiwyg area, however, the original colours remain in the actual website, and I can't customize specific areas with the wysiwyg. Yes, I've refreshed the page. The original css seems to override the wysiwyg area, and retains either the original factory design colours or the colours I switched to using Theme-it before trying to customize further with the wysiwyg.

I should add that in the past, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Sporadic at best. In this instance, however, the colours have refused to change, period. The specific areas I was trying to change were in the News section, and in the message bar titles, etc. The main content message areas seems to work fine, at least on this particular site. I can change them by going into the css directly and creating a new custom rule but I'm wondering why the wysiwyg isn't working.
It has done this to me on a previous site as well, not holding the new size or colour preferences. I had to manually change everything. The original css seems to override in specific instances, especially for colours, but also often for font size. I am a new Webassist customer and when the product(s) work(s), I like it(them), but there are a few quirks in both Theme-it and Powerstore3 that perhaps need that dot adjustment, and they seem to have to do in both products with how they are connecting/changing/not changing the existing css files. Thanks.

Ok, I see where you are coming from on this. When I make the edits within the admin area of PowerStore using the color picker it shows on the front end for me. I'm curious about the specific area you are editing and the updates you are making to it that will not show without adjusting the css manually. If I can get the problem to occur we will be better able to check into this. Please post back with any details that you can come up with for reproducing this issue.
