If I only knew the right question;-)

Hi

I have now returned to an ongoing project with a bit more knowledge..... ( well some knowledge)

Using the users registarion package I have created the registration pages etc. When registration is complete it goes to the page users_thankyou.php.

I checked and the user is now listed in the database and can log in etc.

the registration email is received and when I respond that information is alos added correctly.

So far so good!!

It is from here that in the past I have gone wrong. The next stage in the design is to allow each user to upload five images free of charge, that will eventually be displayed using the dataassist tools.

Thought this could be done using the digital file pro and adding the code to the user module file user_profile.php

Now I failed on this dismaly before Xmas so put in on the back burner however I've now got to get moving and of course digital file pro is now obselete or rather is not on my system as I have universal email.

Question am I approaching this in the right way and should I reinstall the digital file extension and follow the PDF instructions?
sorry to be long winded any suggestions appreciated.

cheers

Ian

Universal Email 4 contains all of the functionality of Digital File Pro.

You can add the Fill upload functionality to the user_profile.php page.

On the user_profile.php page, add file fields for the upload. Go to Insert -> form -> File Field to add the file field.

Then add the Upload file behavior.

Go to Insert -> WebAssist -> File Manipulation -> Upload.

update

Hi

I assume this is still the correct forum as it relates to the user registration module, UE4 etc.

just to reiterate

I uninstalled DFP and installed UE I then deleted the cache and rebooted the PC.

I started dreamweaver ansd opened my site based on the USer registration module.

Opened the page users_profile_1 and added five rows to the table.

I then opened the forms tab and pressed the file field option.

The file field is created but after that the error appears (screen dump attatched).

Thought about reinstalling DFP but I'm not sure.

thanks

Ian
