paypal express check out

Has any one had a problem with paypal express checkout dropping the order. I t does not happen all the time. but does happen once in awhile and I can not figure out why. Can go through the checkout process all the way to paypal. from the paypal site hit the continue button to go back to my confirm page and the cart is empty. Any Ideas?

Is the url different when you return? Do you go from www.yoursite.com to yoursite.com? Leaving off the www or adding one will clear the cart, so that is one possibility.

Ray,

I have experimented with your suggestion. And that is in deed what is happening. how do I set my website to always default to www.website.com to avoid this problem.

Thanks

It is relatively simple to write a script that will check the current url and correct it. WebAssist doesn't offer one, but it should be a quick google search and a copy and paste away.

If you are on an Apache server, you can past the following into an .htaccess file, and it will always redirect the non-www domain to www.domain
