Incomplete display in PowerGallery

Incomplete display in PowerGallery

I have just installed PowerGallery and all works as planned in 'preview', but when putting code into php page, there is a truncated display. The bottom of the strip is cut off. I am including two jpg's to illustrate. The correct display is 'preview', the incorrect is when installed in a php page. Would appreciate assistance. I should note that this is ONLY in IE 6/7 and 8. Firefox and Chrome work as advertised. Is there and <--If IE --> solution?
Regards,
Don

It probably has something to do with where it is placed and the other css on the page. Do you have a url where we can view the page and problem? That would be helpful to try to see what might cause it.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

OldGuy

Truncated css?

Hi Ray,
The VERY simple URL is: next.php
Only two lines bracketing the code prepared by PowerGallelry.
Thanks for your help.

Adding a doctype to the page should fix it. In general, you should always use a doctype since it tells the browser what rules it should follow.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

Why didn't I see that?

Jeez...
I've been doing this long enough to have seen that?
What IE can do in QUIRKS mode!
Sorry to have been so lacking in perception,
Thanks to Ray and Justin.
Regards, case closed.
