WA_SiteImport110.mxp Installation Issue

OK, I know I'm using a primordial version of Site Import, but it has been working well with my Dreamweaver MX 6.1 (Windows XP SP, 2GB RAM, Dell Dimension 8300).

I recently completely reinstalled my operating system and programs, and have not been able to re-install the Site Import extension. The Dreamweaver Extension Manager reports, "The installer file is invalid. The extension will not be installed." I've never experienced this problem before. Other WebAssist extensions install without any problem. I may have experienced an issue with the WebAssist activation server on the Site Import extension a couple of years ago, but I'm not sure about this. Since Site Import installed and functioned properly before my hard drive crashed, it seems reasonable to expect it to install and operate now on the new drive.

By the way, I realize Site Import has been upgraded since I bought it, but I neither need nor want to upgrade it, given that I don't use it very often.

Are you using the Same Dreamweaver Version and the same extension manager as before, or did you upgrade them when you reinstall your OS?

Also, do you have any other extensions that you installed or is it just SiteImport that is not working?

Thanks for the reply. Simply put, I've made no version changes whatsoever in DW or Extension Manager. Other DW extensions are working fine. Also, I downloaded a fresh copy of WA_SiteImport110.mxp from my WebAssist account page, and I reset the WebAssist application server (but I haven't seen a request yet to re-enter the extension's serial number).

Success!

Dani ... I had always used version 1.5 of the Extension Manager, and didn't realize there was a newer version (1.6). Installing version 1.6 cured whatever the problem. Funny, though, that I never had a problem before with version 1.5. Oh well, at least it's working now. Thanks for your help.
