Using ftp to upload mp3 files, and setting file path through digital file pro

I have mp3 store, to upload 80mb file size takes long, am just wondering it's possible for me to use an ftp to upload all my mp3 at a go, then I can now go back to my insert product page to insert new product, instead of browsing to mp3 file to upload, I will just type the file path to the mp3 file and these will be reflected on my product page. I know it's possible but i dont know how i can make it work
To achieve these i will have to create below to my product table
mp3_path

mp3_path: (../../../files/dance.mp3

also is it possible for me to have like mp3 sample e.g. 5 minute of the mp3 can be listen to before it can be purchase. I know that i will have to create preview.mp3, and thefull.mp3 and upload them but i dont know how i can implement it with digital file pro

preview_path (../../priview/dancepreview.mp3

Using Digital File Pro, you will not be able to upload the file prior to inserting it. What you can do is to create 2 different forms, one for when the file is already uploaded and one for uploading the file.

As for having a preview, you can put a link to the preview download on the product details page, but then have a protected download page for the user to download the full version when they've purchased it. You can store what mp3s that the user has purchased and then display only those ones in the download page.
