After insert to MYSQL, how do I send email of results

I just made a profile form on my site using data assist, and it is writing to my MYSQL data base, how do I send that data to my email? I know you do this when an order is placed in powerstore, can you share some code with me to make this happen.
Thank you.

DataAssist doesn't have functionality on how to do this. You would need to either hand code the email behavior or get Universal Email which will help you write out the email.

SMTP not working

I setup the SMTP and the port, but I am not receiving any emails. The data is writing to my database, but not sending an email. Please help.

Most likely you are redirecting after insert so the email doesn't have a chance to send. Make sure the redirect setting in the insert is left blank and redirect in the universal email server behavior instead.

Took out redirect

where it says,

$WA_redirectURL =""; I have it like this now, yet its still going to the test_Results.php page when I submit, and I am getting email but it's blank. The data is still writing to the database.

What could be the problem Ray?
Thanks

i've tried multiple forms

It is sending through my smtp port, but I am getting emails with no data parsed through to them.

I've tried using the forms that come with CSS formbuilder, so Im trying it just with your forms and the emailer, and no data is coming through.

check out this page please,

THanks

Most likely you forgot to upload the template page your email is based off. It may not automatically upload with the required files, make sure to upload the entire webassist/ directory and see if that fixes it.

Uploaded tempalte

Hi Ray, I uploaded template, my smtp settings are correct, and all I get is sometimes a blank email, sometimes no email at all. I don't understand how it could be so inconsistent. And I don't have the page re-directing any where.

When you say directory for webassist can you be more specific to the name that is written to your dreamweaver site? If you are talking about the php pages that get created from Universal email, they are being sent over to the server, to an email dir, sub dir, templates I believe.

Im at a loss, this should be a pretty straight forward process.

I am creating a form with CSS formbuilder, and than adding the create mail message insert after, is that the correct order? I am also choosing the submitwhen button pressed.
