Yet another reinstall. Another hr down the pan. Still haven't reinstalled all my extensions.
No UE4 Icon in Webassist Insert Bar
Only a Progress Icon
Can insert UE4 via server behaviour - but I dont think this is giving me all the options to set up my email.

Drag and drop the universal email error message from the bindings panel. That will tell you why it isn't sent or if it says it sent successfully then look in your spam folder.
Nothing - its not even getting set

And how do I manage the mailing list time intervals

Client doesnt want an email everytime an item from the events list is edited
but does want one everytime it is edited and the publish checkbox is checked
something seems very amiss here
btw - this is exactly the same email server and email I have running from an UE3 email on the same site
that's working (all be it having to make my own trigger and loose the editablility of the SB)
So maybe your email trigger isn't firing? Is your form action pointing to the page where the email is applied? What is the trigger that you are using to send the email?
The "To" button will take you to a page that allows you to set the time intervals.

but after 2 hrs I've had to drop Webassists Universal Email 4 product completely
It's cost too much time and money.
Will be looking for a refund until the extension is fixed.

Did you have a redirect in your insert or update that would cause a redirect before the email trigger could fire? That is a common mistake. It is thoroughly tested and I suspect your problem is not a bug, but a mistake in implementation.
I'd gladly open up a support incident to investigate what might be going wrong, but you haven't given me enough information to diagnose the cause. I do have that one guess based on the one line of information you actually give about your problem:

To clearly diagnose a problem with a definite answer, I would need a little more background information. I still don't know that there is a fix for the extension that is necessary in this case.

Thought for the moment - could the WA interfaces do a better job. It really shouldn't be that difficult. I'm serious about that user testing.
We have a small beta testing group and extensive in house testing. If you are redirecting before our code runs, no amount of changing our code will fix the problem. I'd like to understand the issue before presuming a direction to address it.
