CSS Sculptor crashing before saving template

CSS Sculptor crashing before saving template

Hello,

I used Preset Manager (DWCS4) to modify a template. Everything seems OK (preview, previewing in the browser...). But as soon as I have the Prompt Panel for saving, it disappears and I don't have access to the saving options. I loaded an animated .gif (maybe there's the reason?!?)

Best

Does this happen the same way for you for all of the presets? Can you make any edits to the presets and successfully save them? If so it would indicate an issue that is specific to the preset you created. If this is the case post back and let us know what you are doing when editing your preset that is not working, if a gif is needed to reproduce this result please include it.

We can check on this to see what the problem might be. If this is not the case and you are getting this error regardless it could indicate that there is a corruption somewhere or something like that. If that is the case you would first want to check the cache file and next you would rename the config folder. Here are links to the steps for these:

cache file

config folder

No difference

Hi Eric,

I tried everything, but there's no evolution. I decided to create a new preset, and it works fine. I have another question, what could be the easiest way to have 2 different language menus (ie. English/French,) in the same site and how to link them ?

Best regards.

Alain

I think the easiest way to get two different language menus in the site would be to craft both of them, then use some php code to show only the correct one based on the selected language.

For example, if you have both menu include files on the page and have a session variable that is set for the language you could make one or the other show like this:

php:
if(isset($_SESSION['<your language var>']) && $_SESSION['<your language var>'] == "English"){

// the include for the English menu here
} else {
//the include for the French menu here
}

This is just an example of how an if statement might look for this, you would need to have your session variable for the language set, and have both English and French menus created already.
