Powergallery not working when product has options

Powergallery not working when product has options

I've run into two issues when dealing with the PowerStore3 Advanced Options. First, if a product has an advanced option, the PowerGallery only shows up on the default option, even if I hand paste the code in each option. Once you select another option, the gallery goes away AND does not come back if you return to that first option - you must refresh the page to see it again.

Here is a page which demonstrates the problem: Products_Detail.php?ProductID=15

Secondly, if a product has Advanced Options and I go to update the Long Description, and check update all - it does not work if there are any apostrophes in it, unless the apostrophes are smart apostrophes. This is true whether I hand type in Rich or Code view, or copy from Word or Plain Text.

All help is appreciated.

I can see what you are talking about. I think this has to do with the fact that the content on the page is regenerated when the option is changed. Since the gallery code is only on the detail page and not a part of the lookup page that this page gets updated from you will not see it when the options are updated.

I'm have opened a ticket for you on this so that we can look into this further to determine if the gallery can get back onto the main page.

As for entering options with apostrophes in them this is a problem currently within PowerStore for product names, categories and options. Rather than use the regular apostrophe character you should use the html entity version like this:

single quote

double quote
