centred slideshow ?

i have created a css template page and am going through all of the gallery options, embedding the slideshow in the content div each time, which is centred and has a width of 920px

everything appears ok until i try to embed the slideshow galleries, which appear on the left rather than the centre of the page

css attached

Hi Craig,

Do you have an example of this online that you could link to?

What happens if you add text-align:center to your content div?

#outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content {
margin: 0 0 0 0px; /* Sets the margin properties for an element using shorthand notation (top, right, bottom, left) */
padding: 13px 13px 13px 13px; /* Sets the padding properties for an element using shorthand notation (top, right, bottom, left) */
text-align:center;
}

you could also try setting the left and right margins in the content div to auto:

#outerWrapper #contentWrapper #content {
margin: 0 auto 0 auto; /* Sets the margin properties for an element using shorthand notation (top, right, bottom, left) */
padding: 13px 13px 13px 13px; /* Sets the padding properties for an element using shorthand notation (top, right, bottom, left) */
text-align:center;
}

i went back to first principles, and created a simple 1 column fixed centred layout with the ability to view all gallery formats.

as you can see, depending on the gallery chosen, the gallery shifts within the content div from centre to left

what i would like to do is have all of the galleries centred within my content div.

newphotolayout.php

Try changing the instances of .pg-rf in each of the gallery dark/light css files to:

.pg-rf {
margin: auto;
}

Hi Craig,

Just something to try: change the variable '$database_stonepits1' back to '$database_powergallery', i.e:

<?php
require_once(realpath($abs_prefix . '../') . '/Connections/powergallery.php');
mysql_select_db($database_stonepits1);

To:

<?php
require_once(realpath($abs_prefix . '../') . '/Connections/powergallery.php');
mysql_select_db($database_powergallery);
