Problem with selecting database

Problem with selecting database

I have just uploaded a User Registration System setup to my dev server. After customizing the WAGlobals and the connection file, things seem to be working OK. However, when I now browse to the users_Registration page to register, I am told "No database selected". This error is being produced by this line of the Registration page -

$CheckRepeat = mysql_query($query_CheckRepeat, $localhost) or die(mysql_error());

If I examine the contents of both $query_CheckRepeat, and $localhost, they look correct. I'm not sure what else to check here.

Also, I can get to the LogIn page, but when I try to LogIn using an unregistered name (since I can yet get the Registration page to work), I have the same error!

Obviously, the localhost.php connection file is working properly, otherwise I wouldn't be getting a handle name for $localhost.

What should I be looking for?

OK - this may not have anything to do with your stuff. I'm now thinking it is my server configuration....
