Multiple updates to same table

Thread began 3/12/2010 9:27 am by georgina_barrett_187762 | Last modified 3/12/2010 4:28 pm by Eric Mittman | 485 views | 1 replies |

Multiple updates to same table

Is it possible to have a number of repeat regions that insert into one table - I know it is possible to insert into multiple tables.

I have a number of repeat regions from different recordsets and a tick box at the end of each. I want to select all the recordset by ticking the checkbox and insert all of them into one table.

I have added one multiple insert for the top recordset but when i try and add the next one it seems to work ok but nothing appears in the Server Behaviours and the code hasn't been added to the page.

In order to use the multiple-multiple inserts on the page you will need to ensure that you have your records working in advance, then you need to apply the repeat selection tool to print out all of the records form that recordset and repeat any form elements like the checkbox.

If you have all of the repeat selections and recordsets working correctly on the page then when the multiple inserts are triggered it should process each one of them.

If you are experiencing any problems with this or if you cannot get the server behaviors to apply to the page correctly let us know and also post back with the page in question so that we can get a feel for what you are experiencing.
