PCI-DSS compliance

Has anything been done or in the works to make Power Store 3 and or eCard PCI-DSS compliant? I just found out that by July all online stores that accept credit cards must pass PCI-DSS compliancy tests.

thoughts

Hi

my thoughts would be that as PS3 is only a Gateway to the payment organisation that any compliance would be an issue for them. As far as I'm aware no credit card details are passed through PS3 so there should be no security issues.

cheers

Ian

PCI compliance is more a function of the WebServer configuration.

PowerStore and eCart can be PCI compliant, but they must be hosted on a PCI compliant server using proper security measures like an SSL certificate.
