Problems updating pages in Power CMS

I have a customer who´s got regular problems updating her site through PowerCMS. When she´s logged in and in the middle of editing her text, the system automatically logs her out, and nothing is saved. Today the same thing happened, but when trying to copy and paste the text from Word instead, she was able to save the content.
Any idea what the problem, and most of all the solution, might be?

Do you know how long of a time period we are talking about before the user was logged out? Have you had this happen to yourself? If the problem is not one that everyone experiences the same it will be much more difficult to determine the cause and the solution.

Generally speaking the user should remain logged in while the session is intact, if the session is destroyed or deleted then you would experience something like this. The session should be controlled by the PHP server, so if this a problem on the server others should be experiencing the problem the same. If the user has some settings in their browser or security software that is killing off the session it would need to be dealt with on the client end. Please post back with any more info that you have about the problem and we will check it out to see if there is something we can do to help.

The time varies; sometimes my client gets logged out fairly click. The last time she tried to edit a page, she was working on it for approx 20 mins before she got logged out.
I haven´t had this happening to myself when I´ve been working on that site, so it doesn´t appear to be a server issue.
Any idea what settings might be causing this?

The settings that might be causing this could be in the browser for security or privacy, or it could be some third party software that is doing this. Do you know the browser and OS that this user has? You might be able to replicate the issue they are experiencing with the exact same setup. Then you would be able to check on some things and do some testing to determine if that is the issue. Being able to reproduce this issue to some extent will be the first step in determining what the cause is. Do you have access to the clients machine that you could spend some time on trying to test out settings? This might be a good idea if you do not have a way of reproducing the result yourself.
