Flash Header Content causing Content Admin problem in Firefox

I've put a flash (swf) element in the PS3 header and while it works, it also causes an anomaly in the PS3 Content Admin area, but only with Firefox.

I've attached a screenshot that shows the issue.

I'm curious if anyone else is putting flash content in the PS3 header and sees the same issue with Firefox.

Update

Hi

I see not problem when using firefox.

How are you inserting the flash? In Dreamweaver CS 4 various additional code is added.

It looks like this is on the CMS pages. You will have to add the wmode="transparent" to your flash object. Take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions: Flash movies in the content area don't appear correctly in my browser:

Adding the wmode="transparent" argument worked.

Since I added this flash element through the CMS which uses the WA HTML Editor extension maybe that parameter should be added automatically by the HTML editor extension.

Thanks for the solution.

The reason this isn't added automatically is so that the user can customize the input as much as possible. The HTML Editor isn't just used for CMS, so that flash property isn't necessary or even desired for some users. Well, glad that it was a simple issue for you. If you run into any additional issues, feel free to open a new thread.
