Data Assist Javascript Error

While trying to load Data Assist, i began getting this error:

"WHile executing onLoad in WA_AppBuilder.htm, the following Javascript error(s) occured:

In file "WA_AppBuilder": initializeUI is not defined.

I have remove and reloaded the extension and removed the Cache files ast:

Hard disk: Users: [User Name]: Library: Application Support: Adobe: Dreamweaver CS4: en_US: Configuration as recommended for OSX. But the problem remains. I have used the DataAssist to build several pages previously without problem before this happened last night. I have also tried using it on another site without success.

delete the Dreamweaver cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

make sure Dreamweaver is closed when you delete that file.

you may also have to delete that file, reboot the computer and delete that file again.

Causing Dreamweaver to Crash Now

I have followed your directions, but now it is causing Dreamweaver to crash when trying to use Data Assist. I enter all the info for the group, but when I execute it begins to run, then suddenly crashes Dreameaver (CS4, Mac OS 10.6.2

Same Problem

Hi there,

I have the same problem. Could you share what came out of the support ticket...

It was the DW Cache file.

The error "initializeUI is not defined." is caused by the DW Cache file issue.
common_installation_issues.pdf

I have seen some stubborn cases where the following steps needed to be followed:
1) Close DW
2) Delete Cache File
3) Reboot Computer
4) Delete Cache file again
