Irite for email formatting screwed???

hello,
I'm using iRite for an email newsletter editor. when i create the content for the newsletter and save it to the database, when i preview it in a browser it looks how i intend it to. but when the email comes thru these is excess amounts of space inbetween elements. I've tried a bunch of things and either i can get it to look how i want in the email and it looks screwed up in the browser of vice versa...

just wondering of anyone is using this to create content for emailers?

Do you have a sample of the email? I'd have to look to see the problem. There should be no inherent issues and it should look the same in an email as it does on the web page providing the images and css are referenced properly.
