When you select the menu on the page in design view you should be able to edit it with buttons in the property inspector. You should get edit menu, edit design, and edit content buttons in the property inspector. Click on which one you would like to alter. Choosing the edit menu button will only make changes to the preset, not the menu on the page. You must either edit the design or the contents to make changes in the current menu.

For any others that may be experiencing this did you have to enable Edit > preferences > invisible elements > scripts?

If so the other setting that works with this one is View > visual aids > invisible elements. Both of these must be checked for you to interact with invisible elements.

Eric, I have both of these checked/enabled, and I still can't see my edit buttons.

For any others that may be experiencing this did you have to enable Edit > preferences > invisible elements > scripts?

If so the other setting that works with this one is View > visual aids > invisible elements. Both of these must be checked for you to interact with invisible elements.

If the menu code on the page has been altered you may not be able to edit the menu. If you do not think this is the issue you are experiencing and you have ensured that you have the invisible elements > scripts enabled along with visual aids > invisible elements then please post back with the page that has the menu on it along with a copy of the CSSMenuWriter folder from your site in a zip archive.
