Problem changing the menu in the new PS3 Main Template

I'm having issues with editing the menu in the main template. I just installed PS3 into a new directory on my site...opened up the main template and it won't let me edit the menu. I keep getting this error message.

The Database Connection(s) required for this content do not exist in this site. Please create the following connections to use this preset:

Connection: PowerStoreConnection
================================
Table: categories
Columns: CategoryName, CategoryID, CategoryParent

did I upload something wrong? what should I change...any help is appreciated.

followed the instructions in the other post... I also put powerstore in it's own directory on a different site and tried it from there. Now I getting pretty much the same error...

the only difference is "ps3_categories" instead of just "categories"

have you gone through the installation? The connection file and the database tables are created during the install. you need to go through the install on your local computer to have the database tables and the connection file created.

Yes, i went through the installation. I can login in through the admin section and change products and such. The same as when I was trying to change the template for funphotobooks.com in the first post on this thread dealing with the new PS3. The files are set up in the database. I just can't edit the menu in the template or index.php pages. I can do "edit theme" but not "edit menu" or "edit contents" with CSS Menu Writer

We also confirmed connection as we added a binding with ps3categories and we used data assist to setup new pages. It appears the problem is only with CSS Menu Writer.

I am having this same issue. I have verifired the database connection and loaded the treexml file. NVM I wasnt connecting to the remote server file to make changes - it works fine that way.
