Store Message PS3 v PS2

Store Message PS3 v PS2

In PS3 this div
<div id="storeMessage">
<?php echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerStoreConnection, $PowerStoreConnection,"Home Page", "Site Message"); ?>
</div>
controls what appears in the "Store Message" area through the use of the content/home page-site message area.

In PS2 I used the following
<div id="storeMessage">
<?php showImage("rotate/home_header/images.ini"); ?>
</div>
Which pulls a different image into that area each time the page is reloaded.

Wanting to do the same in PS3 should I just drop the script into the areas I want?
Or could/should I use your admin tool "content/home page-site message" or…?
And if the latter, how, exactly?

Since you are using PHP code, I would just replace the index.php code like you did for v2. If you ever had a need for updating the store message through the admin, you can just put the other code back in.

Further checking on my part reveals that I replaced this in home.css

/* store message */

#storeMessage {
background-image: url("../Images/storeMessage_bg.png");

with this

#storeMessage {
background-image: url("../Images/home/rotate.php/");

Which calls the script thus inserting the images.
Does that change your perspective in any way?

I would replace the CSS as well. Changing these 2 places won't break PowerStore in any way, the store message content in the admin will just be ignored basically since there won't be a place on the front end using it anymore.
